Jake Shapiro is a musician, radio producer, and entrepreneur, trying to connect audiences and artists through digital media. As a co-founder of PRX (Public Radio Exchange) and RadioPublic, Mr. Shapiro merges his love for the public radio and the Internet giving life to projects like Radiotopia, a podcast network home to 99% Invisible, and many other iconic shows. A Harvard alumnus, Jake is also a researcher for Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, co-founder of Matter Ventures, board member of many different media companies, and father of 3 kids; also, he’s the lead guitarist of Two Ton Shoe, a rock band from Boston founded in the 90s and still popular in South Korea.
